What do I do if I'm not receiving emails from AILA?
There are some common reasons why you may not be receiving emails from AILA. Here's how to stay connected with AILA and with your fellow AILA members.
Verify your email address
Log in to AILA.org and click on the welcome message at the top-right of the page to navigate to your My AILA Page.
Scroll down to My Profile and carefully check the spelling of your entire email address, including the username (the prefix before the "@" symbol), the domain name (the suffix after the "@" symbol), and the extension (the lattermost portion of an email address, commonly ".com" but could also be ".org" or another extension). If you see an error, click on "Edit" near the top-right of the My Profile pane. Update your email address in your My AILA Edit Profile page and be sure to save your changes when you're done.
Check your membership status
If your membership has lapsed into suspension, AILA will begin discontinuing emails to you such as the AILA8 and Recent Postings Alerts. Log in to AILA.org, click on the welcome message at the top-right of the page to navigate to your My AILA Page, and check your membership status. If your membership has expired, click "Renew Now" to reactivate your membership.
If you need assistance renewing your AILA membership, visit our Help Center article, How do I renew my AILA membership?
Accidental opt out/unsubscribe
Apple includes an Auto Unsubscribe feature such as what appears below. If you believe you may have accidentally opted out of a listserv, contact Membership@AILA.org to have your listserv subscription reset.
Bounced emails
Per our Anti-Spam Policy, AILA will discontinue sending emails to an address if attempts consistently fail, or "bounce." AILA utilizes HubSpot to ensure that many of our emails are sent to our members. To make sure HubSpot emails are delivered to your inbox, work with your firm's IT team to follow the steps included in this link: Not receiving HubSpot system or notification emails
Automatically forwarded/filtered
Check to make sure your email inbox is not using Rules to forward emails you receive from AILA to another folder. Similarly, be sure to check your Junk/Spam Folder to ensure that our emails are not inadvertently being delivered there. If they are, move them to your email inbox and mark them as “Not Spam” to ensure future delivery. Work with your firm's IT team to add the domain names "@aila.org" and "@lists.aila.org" and the IP Address "3.93.83.112" to your safe sender/recipient list.
If you're also experiencing difficulty sending emails to an AILA listserv, see our Help Center article, What do I do if I can't send emails to an AILA listserv?
