What is a 50-minute CLE state compared to a 60-minute CLE state?
MCLE states calculate CLE credit hours by dividing the running time of a CLE event by either 60 or 50 minutes. Here's how to know which state is which.
A 90-minute program may earn 1.5 hours of CLE credit in a state that bases its credit on a 60-minute credit hour, and 1.8 hours in a state that bases its credit on a 50-minute credit hour. Each jurisdiction has different rounding rules in determining credit calculations. Check your jurisdiction's rule summary for specifics.
