Can I control what emails AILA sends me and how often I receive them?
Yes. Here's how to manage the emails you receive from AILA.
To manage your communication preferences, log in to your account at AILA.org and click on the welcome message at the top-right to open your My AILA page. Click on "Change my Recent Postings settings" in the Account Settings pane near the top-right to change how often you receive Recent Postings. You may choose to receive alerts once weekly, once daily, once hourly, or unsubscribe. Save any changes when you're done.
Click on Change my Contact Preferences to opt out of receiving AILA8, informational emails, political engagement emails, 3rd party emails, all of AILA's substantive and marketing emails, and/or postal mail. You may not opt out of receiving emails that deal specifically with your membership or conference registrations and confirmations. Save any changes when you're done.
To update what Sections you belong to, click on Update sections in the Membership pane. Check the Sections you wish to join. Save any changes when you're done.
Joining or leaving an Interest Group is completed in the listserv settings for that Interest Group.
