Despite the name, AILA Affiliated Paralegals (AAPs) are not just paralegals – they can be anyone who does not qualify for regular attorney membership and whose supervisor is an active AILA member.
Start by creating an account at AILA.org. Click on "Membership" from the top menu and then on Create an Account to Apply.
Follow the prompts to create the non-member account. Use the email and password chosen at account creation to log in, and then click the welcome message at the top-right.
This is your My AILA page. Click on Apply for AILA Membership and then on "Paralegal" to start your application to become an AAP.
