May I make a purchase for someone else on AILA Shop?

You should always log in to your own account to make purchases at AILA Shop. Here's why it's best to make your own purchases.

AILA Shop automatically checks your membership status and member record to present you with the correct amount that you should pay based on your account status and member type. If someone else makes a purchase on your behalf, they may not enjoy the same pricing you do, or have access to the same products you do.

AILA event registrations are made for the individual that the account is registered to. Another individual will not be able to register you for an AILA event.

If you know someone who would like to attend an AILA event but has not yet created an account, they may do so at https://www.aila.org/membership/join.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits and completion certificates are provided only to the registrant for the course. If you take a CLE course using another person's account, you will not be able to claim the CLE credit.

Whether applying for AILA membership for the first time or renewing an existing membership, the application includes an attestation of eligibility which should only be made by the person applying for membership.

Contact Shop@AILA.org for more information.
