Start by navigating to https://www.AILALawyer.com.

For a broad search, input fewer search terms and leave other search fields blank. For example, for a search of all AILA members in the DC area, choose "District of Columbia" from the drop-down menu in the State/Province field, leave other fields blank, and click Search.

Click on the name of the attorney of your choice to reference that attorney's contact information and contact that attorney directly. Ask the lawyer how much they charge for a consultation. During a consultation, you will talk about your situation, your options, ask questions, and see if the lawyer is a good fit.

To narrow your search, add additional search terms. For example, to search for all AILA attorneys who speak Spanish in the DC area, choose "Spanish" from the drop-down menu in the Lawyer Speaks field, "District of Columbia" from the drop-down menu in the State/Province field, leave other fields blank, and click Search.

If your search yields no results, consider broadening your search by removing search terms or expanding the search radius. If your search still yields no results, contact Membership@AILA.org for further direction.

AILA National cannot offer any legal advice, nor can AILA recommend, endorse, or promote any attorney.

Should you have any concerns regarding the attorney, please contact the state bar where the attorney is licensed. If a member is suspended from their state bar, we suspend that member from our Association, but until then, a member is in good standing with AILA.

The Immigration Lawyer Referral Service is a voluntary service offered by AILA National to its qualifying members. Not all AILA members appear on AILALawyer.com
